Michael Eydelshteyn

Michael has been in the steel industry for more than 25 years gaining his rich experience whilst having previously worked for BlueScope Plate supplies for the same period of time. His attention to detail & vast varied industry knowledge has helped him become a plate estimator par excellence. Michael excels in managing and delivering projects which see a large number of customers coming back time and time again to ensure the timely delivery of a project no matter how large or small.

Peter Fitzgerald

Peter having worked previously for BlueScope Plate Supplies for over 28 years is more than just a programmer. His knowledge of the intricate nature of plate cutting and machine capabilities helps make light work of the nature of programming. He has an in-depth understanding of complex project management as he was intricately involved with seamless delivery of numerous Wind Tower projects.

Alex Salins

Alex’s experience spans several industries; the last two decades were spent in the steel industry. His key forte and emphasis has been on forging key partnerships with “Our Customers”, matching their needs to company strengths and thereby delivering mutual and beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.

Maddie Dharmapala

Maddie has over 5 years of steel industry experience and over 15 years of sales excellence from diverse industries. With a passion for helping customers achieve their goals, Maddie is our Customer Relationship Manager – National Projects. 

Ashley Elllis

Ashley has 15 years of experience within the steel industry and has been a programmer for the last 6 years. In that time, he has gained a deep understanding of steel plate products, processing, and the core industries our customers serve. As an estimator and programmer, Ashley will see your project through to completion with meticulous attention to detail.

Mel McArthur 

Our Account Manager at Calibre Steel. With over 10 years of experience in steel distribution and tube mill sales, Mel brings a wealth of industry knowledge, spanning both internal and external sales, along with a strong background in transport and logistics. Her deep understanding of the steel supply chain and her passion for customer success make her a natural fit for this new role. Mel thrives on building genuine partnerships and delivering tailored solutions for our customers. She’s looking forward to getting out on the road and connecting with our Victorian steel plate customers.

Nikhil Desai 

Our Mechanical Sales Estimator at Calibre Steel. Nikhil has a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Deakin University, where he developed strong skills in design, Manufacturing and Project Management. Nikhil brings a wealth of experience to Calibre Steel, having worked as a Mechanical HVAC Designer and as a Fire System Designer in past roles. Nikhil is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the clients, and is always eager to learn new technologies and methods that can enhance my performance and efficiency.
